Pediatric ICU Nurse
Position Overview
Join the Pediatric ICU as a Rapid Responder for an 8-week contract. This is a fixed schedule with no flexibility for schedule changes.
Shift & Hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Overtime: Available after 48 hours
Orientation
- 4-hour hospital orientation
- 8-hour shift on the floor with your preceptor
Clinical Environment
You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Pediatric ICU, supporting critically ill and injured children alongside an experienced clinical team.
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of North Carolina)
- PICU experience preferred
- Ability to work the posted day shift schedule with no exceptions
Dress Code
RNs wear all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white scrubs.
Important Policies
- Tobacco use is prohibited on all campus grounds, including personal vehicles in designated parking areas.
- Timekeeping is managed via phone-based system; you'll receive instructions from your unit manager.
- Mileage reimbursement is available for travel over 30 miles.
