Mother Infant RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Mother Infant RN for a 13-week contract, working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week with no call requirement.
Clinical Scope
You'll provide comprehensive care to postpartum couplets, postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients. Responsibilities include:
- Patient assessments, IV insertion, blood draws, and foley catheter insertion, management, and removal
- Newborn assessments, including blood draws, 24-hour screening tests, hearing screenings, and glucose management
- Eat, Sleep, Console assessments and newborn care support
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a Mother Infant RN
- Current RN license
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Weekend availability (at least every third weekend)
- Ability to reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
- No on-call requirement
- Weekends: Every third weekend, as assigned
- Holidays: As assigned
