Labor & Delivery (LDRP) – Registered Nurse | Templeton, CA | Nights
This 13-week travel assignment places you in a Labor & Delivery unit operating under the LDRP model, where patients are cared for through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum in a single-room setting. The unit provides care for obstetric patients across the full spectrum of acuity.
Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week, rotating shifts
- No on-call requirements
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Current RN license (California or Compact)
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (required upon hire; renewed every two years)
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Familiarity with the LDRP model
- Electronic health records experience required
Clinical Scope
Working in an LDRP environment, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for obstetric patients from active labor through postpartum. Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, patient and family education, coordination with the multidisciplinary team, and adherence to established nursing practice standards.

Templeton, CA is a charming community in northern San Luis Obispo County, surrounded by oak trees, farm-to-fork dining, and scenic trails — with Central Coast beaches approximately 15 minutes away.
