Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
Join the labor and delivery team at the facility in Templeton, CA. You'll provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns in an LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum) model, where you manage the full birth experience in one room.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- 36 hours per week, rotating shifts
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (or completion within 6 months of hire for new L&D nurses)
- Proficiency with electronic health records
What You'll Do
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the labor and delivery process. Coordinate care, delegate tasks appropriately, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Maintain standards of nursing practice while providing exceptional support to patients and families.
