Physical Therapist
Location: Templeton, CA
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (every third weekend)
Contract: 13 weeks | Start: November 9, 2026
Hours: 40/week, no on-call
About the Role
You'll plan and deliver physical therapy treatment programs that restore and improve patients' physical, social, and mental function. Work collaboratively as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary care team, developing individualized treatment plans and supervising assigned assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete patient evaluations and establish treatment plans based on clinical assessment
- Deliver therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques
- Document comprehensively and timely per facility standards
- Communicate care and discharge plans with the care team
- Supervise PT assistants
- Support diverse patient populations across the facility
Requirements
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree (or foreign equivalent)
- License: Current state Physical Therapy license
- Certification: Current BLS/CPR from approved vendor
- Experience: Two years of recent PT experience preferred
- Other: Vaccination required as condition of employment (medical/religious exemptions may apply)

The facility serves northern San Luis Obispo County with comprehensive acute care including orthopedics, emergency medicine, wound care, and outpatient services. Templeton offers access to farmers markets, farm-to-table dining, hiking, biking, and beaches just 15 minutes away.
