Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the rehabilitation team on a day shift schedule. You'll plan and conduct treatment programs designed to restore and improve patients' physical, social, and mental functions while serving as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary care approach.
Clinical Scope
- Complete thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy interventions using established clinical protocols and techniques
- Establish personalized care and discharge plans; communicate plans to relevant parties
- Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines
- Supervise assigned occupational therapy assistants
- Float to other facility sites as needed based on staffing and census
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Float: Required to other locations as staffing needs dictate
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD); required if license obtained after January 2007
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum two years of occupational therapy experience (preferred)
- Electronic health record proficiency required
