Respiratory Therapist – Nights

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift assignment in Lawton, OK, beginning October 8, 2026.

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Examine patients with breathing difficulties, analyze blood and sputum samples, and conduct lung capacity testing
• Treatment Administration: Provide oxygen therapy, administer aerosol medications, and perform chest physiotherapy to improve ventilation
• Ventilation Management: Set up, manage, and operate mechanical ventilators for patients requiring life support; adjust settings for optimal patient safety and comfort
• Emergency Response: Deliver acute care including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and CPR
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain accurate patient records, consult with physicians on treatment plans, and support discharge planning
• Patient Education: Teach patients and families to manage respiratory conditions and use home medical equipment

Requirements

• Current Respiratory Therapist license or certification (CRTT/RRT as required by state)
• CPR certification
• Ability to work nights and respond to emergency situations
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

What to Expect

This is an active clinical role in a patient-care environment with guaranteed hours and quick placement. You'll work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team managing patients across varying acuity levels.
