Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Shift & Schedule

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week with weekend rotation

13-week contract

About the Role

You'll deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients on a medical-surgical unit. In this supervisory nursing role, you'll assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and direct the activities of nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You'll use critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure safe, compassionate care delivery and participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in California
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• PALS certification required if extending beyond initial contract
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
• BSN preferred
