Registered Nurse – ICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its intensive care unit. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to a patient or assigned group of patients, supervise and direct nursing staff activities, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36-hour/48-hour blocks
• 13-week contract
• Day shift

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data to identify diagnoses and care needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans promoting health and safety
• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff members
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
• Delegate and coordinate healthcare team duties
• Maintain a caring, safe environment for patients

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in California
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
• Current BLS certification (approved vendor)
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• Impella and balloon pump experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
