Interventional Vascular/IR Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Vascular/IR Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You'll support a busy interventional radiology suite performing endovascular procedures, thrombolytic interventions, and cardiac catheterization cases.
Schedule & Expectations
- Shift: Days, 4 × 9-hour shifts, 0700–1630
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- On-Call: 6–8 days per month, including every 4th/5th weekend as needed
- Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1–2 of 3 winter holidays (unless unit closure)
- Emergency Call Back: 2-hour minimum
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
- Active AHA BLS or ARC certification
- Valid driver's license
- Iowa Radiology license (highly preferred; will consider licensing candidates)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in endovascular procedures
- Experience with thrombolytics
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- ARRT or RCIS/CCI credentials
