Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver cardiopulmonary evaluation, respiratory care, and life support across inpatient and outpatient settings. You'll work with patients of all ages experiencing cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities, following established protocols and physician prescriptions.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–6:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 15, 2026
Required Credentials & Experience
- Current New York State RRT License
- NBRC RRT certification
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
- Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Labor & Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation experience
- Critical Care proficiency
Clinical Scope
You will perform respiratory care duties throughout the hospital, including cardiopulmonary evaluations, life support management, and patient/family education. You'll manage both inpatient and outpatient populations across all age groups.

- Work history and skills checklist (current within the past year)
- Supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years
- Permanent address on file (must match Driver License/State ID)
- Current licenses and certifications uploaded
- 14-panel drug screen completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance
Note: Candidates with permanent addresses in specific New York counties will not be considered.
