Med/Surg RN — Night Shift | Austin, TX | 13-Week Contract

This 13-week night shift contract places you on a medical-surgical unit in Austin, TX, caring for a general med/surg and neurology-focused patient population, including patients requiring epilepsy monitoring and telemetry.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements

Unit Overview

The unit manages general medical-surgical patients with a clinical emphasis on neurological conditions, including epilepsy care. The team runs both day and night shifts with consistent charge nurse coverage and PCT support.

Required Certifications & Skills

• Active RN license
• BLS (required)
• NIHSS (required)
• Telemetry experience (required)
• Prior hospital experience (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of nursing experience
• Epilepsy care background

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs
