Cath Lab Technologist – Day Shifts
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Los Angeles, CA. This is an ideal opportunity for first-time travelers with strong structural heart experience.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30)
- Frequency: 6–8 days per month (4–5 weekdays, 1 weekend day)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Unit Details
You'll work in three dedicated cardiac catheterization procedure rooms and one electrophysiology lab. The unit handles an active caseload of approximately 3 cases per room daily, serving adult and geriatric patients.
Clinical Scope
- Cardiac catheterization and interventions
- Structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman)
- Peripheral vascular angiography and interventions
- Electrophysiology ablations and device implants
- Vascular closure techniques
Required Qualifications
- Active California license
- Minimum 2 years cath lab, structural heart, and EP experience
- Structural heart experience is mandatory
- ARRT certification
- BLS and Fluoro Permit
- Proficiency with C-arm procedures, scrubbing, PACS, and fluoroscopy studies
Pre-Start Requirements
- Advanced EKG exam (80% passing score required; two attempts permitted)
- Specialty modules required prior to start
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Smoke/nicotine-free facility (arrive free of tobacco odor)
