Interventional Rad Tech

Interventional Radiology Tech | Asheville, NC

Shift: 07:30–16:00 | Contract: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

This busy Interventional Radiology department handles a high volume and wide variety of both vascular and neurointerventional procedures. The unit operates multiple procedure rooms and includes a dedicated invasive CT scanner within the department.

Procedures You'll Perform:

• Dialysis access work (Permcaths, fistulagrams)
• Nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms, embolizations, Y-90
• G-tubes, TIPS, Inari cases
• Cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipeline embolization devices
• Mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties

Required Qualifications:

• Previous Interventional Radiology experience — must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience — scrub and circulate required
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vascular OR experience
• Cath Lab experience
• Vascular Interventional (VI) registry

Schedule & Expectations:

• Day shift staffing: 2 techs per room with dedicated nursing support
• Weekend commitment: every 7th weekend
• On-call: one night secondary call per week
• Float area: Vascular OR (VOR)
