About the Role
Join the Emergency Department at the facility in Asheville. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency setting alongside a collaborative clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with emergency procedures
- Monitor vital signs and patient status; communicate changes to the care team
- Support physicians and advanced practice providers during resuscitations and acute interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
Qualifications
- Current RN license (North Carolina)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- ER experience preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour day shift
- Flexibility to respond to patient volume fluctuations
