Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift role (6:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with on-call availability Friday through Sunday.
About the Unit
The cath lab performs a high-volume mix of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary angiography, complex chronic total occlusions (CTO), high-risk PCI, ablations for atrial fibrillation and arrhythmias, device placements (pacemakers, ICDs, Watchman), peripheral interventions, ECMO cannulation, and thrombectomy. Day-shift teams consist of 3–4 staff per case, with at least one technician in each room.
Requirements
- Current Radiology Technologist certification or RCIS (Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventionalist Specialist)
- Prior cath lab experience is required
- No float assignments
- On-call rotation: 24-hour shifts Friday–Sunday (begins after daily cases conclude)
