Wound Ostomy Care Nurse
Shift & Schedule
Day shift, Sunday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekend and holiday work required. No on-call or standby.
The Role
You'll join the facility's WOC (Wound Ostomy Continence) team, providing specialized care to patients across multiple units. Your focus will be advanced wound management, ostomy care, and wound vac therapy. You'll collaborate with nursing teams throughout the hospital, bringing expert wound care expertise to diverse patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) via WOCNCB
- Prior experience as a WOC nurse required
What to Expect
- 1 week unit-specific orientation
- No drip titration responsibilities
- Interdisciplinary collaboration across the hospital
- Royal blue and white scrubs
Contract Details
- 13-week assignment
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Flexible scheduling with 2 cancellations permitted per 13-week period
