Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN to join its emergency department. You'll deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care to patients across the acuity spectrum while supervising and directing nursing staff activities. This role requires independent judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM (primarily), with occasional night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly commitment: 36 hours
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: October 12, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients, analyze data, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement interventions and coordinate care delivery across disciplines
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to nursing team members
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning support
• Maintain a safe, healing, and compassionate care environment

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (state of practice)
• Current BLS certification
• AHA-ACLS certification required
• AHA-PALS certification required
• AHA-NRP certification required
• Minimum 2 years recent emergency or acute care experience
• TNCC certification preferred
