Radiologic Technologist – CT & X-Ray
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray and computed tomography equipment in the medical imaging department. You will perform at least two modalities competently and contribute to departmental operational goals in a critical access hospital setting.
Shift & Schedule
Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
36 guaranteed hours per week
13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT and x-ray equipment safely and proficiently
- Perform mobile imaging examinations (radiographic and fluoroscopic) as needed
- Transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures
- Test defibrillators and maintain crash cart integrity
- Assist in achieving departmental objectives and creating a productive imaging environment
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Current state RT (Radiologic Technologist) license
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in both x-ray and CT modalities
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of recent radiologic technology experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Certification in two additional advanced modalities (Mammography, MRI, or Sonography)
