Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic Technologist
About the Role
You'll perform cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and assist with active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Operating sophisticated imaging equipment, you'll produce contrast-enhanced radiographs to support physician diagnosis and treatment of heart and cardiovascular conditions. You'll position and instruct patients, assist with specialized procedures, and contribute to a high-functioning clinical team.
Shift & Schedule
- Evening shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- On-call: Every other weekend plus 2 weeknights per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Required Qualifications
- Current radiologic technologist (RT) license in California
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
- Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB), TEAM, TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in radiologic technology or special procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology
- 3+ years technical experience
- Special procedures technologist background
