Outpatient Oncology RN — Ukiah, CA

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 4 x 10s, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (rotating days, no set weekly schedule) | Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

This outpatient oncology role places you in a clinic setting where you'll deliver coordinated, patient-centered nursing care to oncology patients. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, applying clinical expertise and independent judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze patient data to formulate nursing diagnoses and develop care plans
• Implement and coordinate interventions, promoting health and patient safety
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures; assist with minor surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity through discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate nursing staff

Schedule & Coverage:

• Rotating days of the week (no fixed schedule)
• No call required

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Active RN license (state of California or applicable compact)
• Current BLS certification
• ONS/ONCC-CHIM certification required

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 2–3 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Outpatient or clinic experience preferred
• BSN preferred
