Registered Nurse – Women's Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Women's Care Unit on a 13-week contract. You'll provide comprehensive care to women across the childbearing spectrum and newborns up to 28 days of life, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Shift & Schedule
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift assignment
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- 3–4 years of recent labor and delivery experience
- Strong postpartum care experience
- Newborn stabilization skills (STABLE certification strongly recommended)
- Basic computer skills
Required Certifications (within six months of hire if not current)
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- ACLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Hospital conscious sedation certification
Clinical Scope
You'll manage labor and delivery care, postpartum recovery, and newborn assessment and stabilization. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, family support, and coordination with obstetric, pediatric, and anesthesia teams.
