Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established procedures. You'll review and evaluate quality controls, specimen integrity, and instrumentation to ensure accurate and timely results are reported.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Duration: 20-week contract
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call: No call required

Requirements

• BS or BA in Medical Technology or related sciences
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum two years of experience in all aspects of clinical laboratory operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in multitasking and organizing workload in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally

Physical Demands

Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, standing, and walking. Repetitive hand motions and ability to hear and communicate clearly required.

Work Environment

You'll work with standard laboratory equipment and office technology while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
