Registered Nurse – Critical Access Hospital
Location: Fort Bragg, CA
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care in a critical access hospital serving a close-knit coastal community. This supervisory nursing position requires you to manage patient care, guide nursing staff, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, compassionate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient data and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff activities
- Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate patient progress
- Educate patients, families, and team members
- Coordinate discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate and manage team duties effectively
- Work independently using critical thinking and professional judgment
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in California (current and valid)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E
- TNCC preferred
