ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Sonora, CA

This 13-week contract places you in an ICU setting in the scenic Sierra Nevada foothills, close to Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. The unit provides high-acuity care requiring strong critical thinking, clinical autonomy, and collaborative practice across the care team.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Scope

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to critically ill patients, managing complex diagnoses and rapidly changing conditions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; continuously evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Supervise and delegate to nursing team members; coordinate care across disciplines
• Provide patient and family education; participate actively in discharge planning

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN licensure in California (or compact equivalent)
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• PALS (AHA or ARC)

Experience & Education

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• BSN preferred; acute care background preferred
