Position Overview

The facility seeks a Physical Therapist to plan and deliver treatment programs that restore and improve patients' physical, social, and mental function. You'll work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, establishing individualized care plans and supervising physical therapy staff.

Clinical Setting

You'll support an acute care facility with a diverse patient population, including trauma cases and those requiring intensive rehabilitation services. The role encompasses comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, evidence-based interventions, and timely clinical documentation.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (day shift)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Start Date: October 12, 2026

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required; if license obtained on or after January 2016, foreign equivalent accepted
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Two years of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred

Essential Responsibilities

• Complete thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions using established protocols
• Document clinical findings and progress within established timelines
• Supervise assigned physical therapy assistants
• Communicate care plans to interdisciplinary team members and patients
