Labor & Delivery RN — Travel Contract | Durango, CO

This LDRP unit provides comprehensive maternity care across all phases — labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. Travelers are expected to manage patients through each phase of care and function as a flexible member of an integrated maternity team.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4–5 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• 1 on-call shift of your choice per 6-week schedule block
• Self-scheduling available; unit needs take priority
• In-state presence required during the orientation week

Clinical Details

• Common diagnoses: hypertension, preeclampsia, preterm labor, TOLAC
• RNs titrate oxytocin drips independently
• RNs read their own fetal monitor strips
• Floating may occur as helping hands only — no independent assignment on other units
• OB/Neonatology and anesthesia are not in-house 24/7
• Respiratory therapy equipment available on unit
• Nurse aides and surgical techs on unit; charge nurse carries an assignment

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Start date: October 19, 2026
• Scrubs provided via on-site vending machine credit
• BSN not required; state license required at time of submission
