Emergency Department RN

Position Overview

Join the emergency department as a Registered Nurse providing direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will assess patient needs, prioritize care, and coordinate treatment across multiple clinical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and accurate for all patients entering the emergency care system
• Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Manage a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate seamless care
• Complete a Basic Dysrhythmia test during your first week (required to work in this department; self-study materials provided upon acceptance)

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Occasional on-call during low-census periods (if called in, respond within one hour)
• No regular call rotation

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Basic Dysrhythmia competency (tested first week)
• Standard onboarding requirements: vaccinations, background check, health screening, and professional verifications

Contract Details

• 13 weeks
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start: October 26, 2026
