Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse — Travel Contract
Ukiah, CA | Day Shift | 13-Week Contract
This Medical-Surgical unit delivers coordinated, patient-centered care across a range of acute care diagnoses. The nursing team collaborates closely with interdisciplinary providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for adult patients, while supporting continuity through active discharge planning.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM (36 hours/week)
- Weekend rotation required
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Start date: September 24, 2026
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN license (California or compact, per state of practice)
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- PALS: preferred for first contract; required upon extension
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation is expected
Additional Details
- Scrub color: Navy blue
- BSN preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient data and formulate individualized care plans
- Supervise and delegate to ancillary nursing staff
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions of care
