Operating Room – Surgical Services

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (10:30 – 21:00)

Contract Duration: 16 weeks

License Required: Georgia or Compact RN license

Start Date: October 19, 2026

About the Role

The facility's Operating Room serves multiple surgical specialties including General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, GYN, Transplant (solid organ), Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Plastics, and Ophthalmology. You'll support a diverse surgical schedule with exposure to complex procedures ranging from craniotomies and spinal fusions to organ transplants and joint replacements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel
• Required expertise in: Neurosurgery, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics (Hard stops—do not apply without these specialties)
• Current BLS certification
• Georgia or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Must pass clinical screening to determine fit for the assignment
• Travel experience required

Schedule & Flexibility

• Weekends: Variable (to be discussed at interview)
• Call: Variable (to be discussed at interview)
• Floating: Within facility scope of practice and to outpatient areas as needed
• Maximum RTO: 7 days per contract (must be finalized at submission; no requests post-offer or during orientation week)
• Blackout Dates: November 23–29 and December 21–January 3

Compliance

Full compliance required to start on time. All compliance documents must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing and submitted by Tuesday prior to your start date. Non-compliance may delay your start by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling.
