MRI Technologist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an MRI Technologist for night shift coverage, Wednesday–Friday, 17:00–05:30 (3×12-hour shifts). You'll work independently in the MRI department with occasional support from operations staff.

Clinical Scope

You'll perform a wide range of MRI procedures including abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging. Advanced techniques include diffusion imaging, gradient echo, post-processing, MIP, MRP, perfusion, and spectroscopy. You'll serve adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and ICU settings, managing approximately 40 cases daily across 3 rooms.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years MRI experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) credential required
• BLS certification
• Must be competent on both Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier systems
• Ability to work independently on night shift
• Willing to float as needed

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks minimum (through 2/27/27)
• Schedule: Wednesday–Friday nights only; no call or float required
• Orientation: 1 week first shift, then independent assessment
• Scrubs: Royal blue tops and bottoms

Compliance Notes

Pre-start lab work required within 48 hours of signing. Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted). Paid time off pre-approved up to 7 days; must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No additional RTO requests after contract signing.
