Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. You'll assess patients to determine appropriate treatment types and frequencies, develop individualized care plans based on diagnoses, and implement advanced respiratory care modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with respiratory conditions
- Assess treatment needs and develop evidence-based care plans
- Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment
- Document and communicate patient condition changes to the care team
- Perform advanced respiratory interventions
- Evaluate outcomes and adjust treatment protocols as needed
- Educate patients and families about respiratory health and community resources
- Respond to code situations and emergency resuscitation calls
Required Qualifications
- Current NBRC certification
- Active respiratory therapy license/credentials
- BLS/ACLS certification
