Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
This medical/surgical unit in Denver, Colorado manages a diverse patient population including post-operative and medical management cases. The unit performs procedures such as cholecystectomies, appendectomies, and general surgical and medical care, providing a well-rounded acute care experience.
Shift Details
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Start date: August 24, 2026
Unit Overview
- Med/Surg with remote telemetry monitoring
- Night shift staffing of 4–6 RNs depending on census
- Candidates should be comfortable working independently or alongside one other RN; floor-level resources are available
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current, acute care Med/Surg hospital experience
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Surgical and/or medical experience
- Mom/baby experience with NRP certification
- Strong customer service and communication skills
