CT Technologist – Nights

Position Overview

The facility's diagnostic imaging department seeks an experienced CT Technologist to join the team on the night shift. You'll operate advanced imaging equipment, perform complex CT procedures, and deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and power injectors following radiation safety protocols and ALARA standards
• Position patients using positioning devices and protective equipment; perform exams per departmental protocols
• Assist radiologists with routine and interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality, collate and label appropriately, and transmit to the image archival system
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement and safe contrast administration; dispense oral contrast as needed
• Perform radiographic procedures including X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR work
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers for maintenance
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage supply inventory
• Cross-train in other modalities (MRI, DEXA, mammography) as needed
• Provide clear patient education to ensure understanding and cooperation

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) with CT certification
• Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; must pass background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a practicing CT Technologist
• Cross-training in additional imaging modalities
• Familiarity with PACS and RIS/HIS systems

• Nights | 36 guaranteed hours/week | 13-week contract | Start: October 19, 2026
