Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care on a busy med-surg unit managing patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating 3x12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (nights) and 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (days)
• Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will make every effort to honor your preferred schedule
• You must work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license: Ohio or Compact State (in hand at submission)
• 12 months permanent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from work in the past 12 months)
• Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• Background check review; no open cases or license hits

Clinical Scope

You'll manage telemetry patients, perform cardiac assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to patient care planning in a fast-paced environment. Float opportunities to other units may occur.

Additional Information

• Vaccination requirements: COVID-19 and flu (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
