Emergency Department Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced nurse for a high-volume, fast-paced trauma setting. You'll manage acutely ill and injured patients across all presentations, from minor injuries to critical trauma cases.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM shifts)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: September 21, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Trauma experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Valid Georgia or compact state nursing license
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Clinical Environment
You'll work in a busy emergency setting with diverse patient acuity and presentations. Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment are essential.
