Surgical Scrub / Circulator – Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced OR surgical scrub and circulator for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift, 3x12-hour role (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) with no floating and no weekend requirements.

Requirements

• Current PA state license or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of general OR experience (hard requirement)
• Minimum 2 years of Level I Trauma OR experience (hard requirement)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• CNOR preferred

What You'll Do

You'll work in a high-volume surgical environment supporting a wide range of specialties: general surgery, trauma, bariatric, colorectal, urology, gynecology, oncology, pediatric, neuro, ortho, burns, plastics, ENT, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant (kidney, pancreas, liver). The facility operates 24 main ORs with designated trauma ORs adjacent to the trauma bay, plus 2 hybrid ORs for endovascular and structural heart procedures.

Common procedures include AAA repairs, robotic cases, C-sections, laminectomies, trauma cases, and more. You'll care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Orientation & Compliance

• 12 hours of orientation
• One week pre-approved time off
• Fingerprinting required within 1 week of signing
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• RTO submission required at time of application
