Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You will provide direct patient care in a general medical-surgical ICU setting, managing high-acuity patients requiring intensive monitoring and skilled interventions.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
- Holiday Expectations: You must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- AHA BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- CCRN and NIHSS certifications (preferred)
- Current RN license
What You'll Do
You'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients, perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs and lab values, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and respond to changing patient conditions with clinical judgment and skill.
