Operating Room RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN to join its surgical team. You'll work day shifts in a busy operating room managing diverse surgical cases across multiple specialties.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per 6 weeks
- Holidays & On-Call: Optional
- No floating or blocked scheduling
Required Qualifications
- BSN and active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to scrub the following specialties: total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic cases
- Trauma surgery experience required
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
Preferred Experience
Ortho, urology, endoscopy, vascular, thoracic, neuro & neuro spine, bariatrics, plastics, ENT, podiatry, or transplant cases.
Unit Details
The OR handles approximately 50 cases daily across 19 rooms, treating adults and geriatric patients. You'll work with modern robotic surgical systems and manage cases ranging from minimally invasive procedures to complex reconstructions.
