Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

About the Role
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse to join the night shift team. You'll provide direct patient care on a med-surg unit, supporting patients across a range of acute medical and surgical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary staff to support safe, effective care
- Document care in the patient record and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of practice)
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
