Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- and assess patients with acute and urgent conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Respond to emergency protocols and high-acuity situations
Requirements
- Current RN license (North Carolina)
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Emergency Department experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment
