Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a collaborative clinical environment, supporting pregnant patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 19, 2026
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- Minimum 18 months of L&D experience
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
- ACLS preferred
- IV insertion competency
- Proficiency with electronic charting systems
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Insert IVs and manage patient lines
- Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs
- Document care using the facility's charting system
- Collaborate with obstetric and nursing teams
Expectations
- Flexibility to float to other clinical departments as operational needs arise
- Willingness to work across facility locations
