Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Night Shift | Weatherford, TX
This 13-week contract places you on a Medical PCU caring for a diverse mix of step-down patients. The unit operates on night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with a start date of August 24, 2026.
Unit Overview
- Medical PCU with a varied patient population requiring progressive care monitoring and intervention
- Night shift team structure includes a charge nurse coordinator, registered nurses, and patient care technicians
- No on-call requirement
- Floating required on a rotation basis
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Ideal Candidate
- Current RN licensure with PCU or step-down experience
- Comfortable with a mixed medical patient population
- Strong teamwork orientation and a positive, adaptable attitude
- Prior travel RN experience preferred
Additional Notes
Candidates are expected to integrate smoothly into an established team that values collaboration and mutual support. Floating within the facility is required on a rotational basis.
