Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for its high-risk labor and delivery unit. This is an 8-week assignment working nights (7 PM – 7 AM) on a rotating schedule, including weekends.
Unit Details
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk obstetrical bedside nursing experience
- Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certification required
- Demonstrated competency circulating in C-sections and recovering high-acuity patients
- Current RN license in Texas
Expectations
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Ability to float to antepartum areas as needed
- Call availability as discussed during interview
- Professional appearance: scrubs (color specified by facility), clean and healthy nails (no artificial), neat hair pulled back if shoulder-length or longer, covered tattoos, no visible piercings except ears
