Pharmacist – Inpatient Pharmacy
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Pharmacist for its inpatient pharmacy. This is a 16-week contract role working day shifts in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: rotating between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with one weekend per month
- Must work at least one holiday during the contract period
Key Responsibilities
- Order verification and patient safety review
- Medication reconciliation and patient medication reviews
- Discharge medication counseling
- Day-to-day pharmacy operations
- No IV compounding
Required Qualifications
- BS Pharm or PharmD with New York state RPh license
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in hospital pharmacy
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
Location Requirement
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
