Emergency Department RN – Night Shift

The Opportunity

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week night shift contract. You'll join a collaborative, high-acuity team in a modern environment dedicated to excellent patient care across all populations, with specialized expertise in geriatric emergency medicine.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 12-hour nights (3P–3A or 7P–7A rotation)
• Hours: 36 per week (guaranteed 112 contract hours)
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend shift per week, or two every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Minimum one holiday per contract
• Blocked Scheduling: Rotating schedule available; fixed blocks can be arranged (Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon)
• On-Call: Optional but recommended; average 2 hours per week, available in 4-, 8-, 12-, or 16-hour blocks (7P–7A window)

Requirements

• Active NY RN license
• 2+ years recent ED or acute-care experience
• 2 years U.S. work history (required for international candidates)
• AHA BLS and NIH certifications
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
