Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a comprehensive stroke center. You'll work in a specialized IR department performing a full range of interventional procedures in a clinically dynamic environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour days: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call approximately 8 shifts per 6-week period, including 1 weekend
• 30-minute call response time
• Hospital scrubs provided

Clinical Scope

• All general IR procedures
• Neuro IR procedures (stroke interventions and related cases)
• Four dedicated IR rooms, including neuro IR capability
• In-house radiologists during day shift; on-call coverage nights and weekends
• No floating; IR only
• IV starts not required for this role

Requirements

• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiovascular (CV) certification preferred
• Prior IR experience required; neuro IR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Hospital cancellation policy: up to 4 shifts per 13-week term
• Orientation: 1–2 shifts or as needed (on-site attendance required for orientation week)
• Within 60-mile radius; must relocate for contract duration
