Endoscopy RN — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

8-Week Contract | 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

This Endoscopy unit manages a procedural-based patient population presenting with complex gastrointestinal and pulmonary conditions, including pancreatic, lung, colon, and gastric cancers, polyps, Barrett's esophagus, and common bile duct stones and strictures.

Procedures You'll Perform:

• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP
• Navigational Bronchoscopy and Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
• Esophageal Manometry and Fibroscan
• Conscious sedation administration and recovery
• Monitored anesthesia care recovery

Schedule & Call:

• Four 10-hour shifts; days off vary based on department needs — consistent Monday/Friday scheduling is not guaranteed
• On-call required approximately 4–6 shifts per month, covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Float to Pre-Anesthesia/PACU as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy RN experience
• ACLS and BLS required; CGRN preferred
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV placement is mandatory
• Electronic health record proficiency required
• Active New York RN license required prior to submission
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers welcome
