Acute Care Float Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced RN for a night float role, rotating across multiple acute care units. You'll work 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, including a 30-minute meal break) and be assigned daily by the nursing supervisor based on staffing needs.

Assignment Areas

You'll float to a variety of units including medical-surgical, trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, vascular, pulmonary, oncology, nephrology, neuro, GI, and comfort care settings.

Key Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license (Tennessee or multi-state compact)
• Minimum 2 years experience in acute care hospitals
• BLS certification required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions honored)
• Scrubs: Royal Blue

Scheduling & Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities

• No block schedule accommodation
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 5, 2026
