Cardiac Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Augusta, GA | 12-Week Contract

This cardiac telemetry unit cares for an adult and geriatric patient population managing conditions including post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease. Peritoneal dialysis is performed on the unit.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
• Floating required within cardiac telemetry or similar units based on scope of practice
• No on-call required
• Max 7 days RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Blackout: Spring Break (April 4–12)
• Holiday work expected per standard policy

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS and ACLS
• Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission

Clinical Skills Required

• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Cardiac drip and vasoactive drip management (no titration)
• Central line, PICC line, and peripheral IV care
• BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula management
• Pre/post cardiac cath and cardiac surgery care
• Heparin and IV insulin protocols
• Tracheostomy care, chest tube management, wound care/wound vac
• Pacemaker management (temporary and permanent)

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers considered
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Scrub color: Navy blue

Compliance Note

Full onboarding compliance is required prior to start. Core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. Orientation includes non-billable module hours.
